Caro Llewellyn is an internationally acclaimed artistic director of literary festivals and large-scale cultural events. She was artistic director and CEO of Sydney Writers' Festival in Australia and built attendance to 65,000. From 2006 to 2010, she directed the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, chaired by Salman Rushdie.
